This is an original oil and acrylic painting. One of a kind. "Octopus, Turtle and Tangs" was inspired by the ways animals communicate, and help (by cleaning) each other. The turtles delight with their unhurried mode of living. Tangs eat the algae of the turtles, pecking away like chickens. Octopi flow with the ocean currents, arms akimbo. Shy creatures, they always skittered away from me. I don’t know how that little one bonded with the filmmaker, in “My Octopus Friend.”
This is our only ocean, don’t mess it up. Respect.
